Nueces River Near Tilden affecting McMullen County.

For the Nueces River...including Cotulla, Tilden, Three Rivers,
Mathis, Bluntzer, Calallen...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Nueces River near Tilden.

* WHEN...Until late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Major lowland flooding of livestock, roads,
irrigation pumps and tank batteries. Fencing is damaged as well as
hunting cabins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Wednesday afternoon and continue falling to 7.0 feet late this
week.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
