* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. High
water may recede slowly from flooded areas. Area creeks and streams
are already elevated, increasing the risk of flooding due to
additional rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1239 PM CDT, Various reports and gauges indicate that flooding
is ongoing after an estimated 2 and 4 inches of rain fell over
the area this morning.
- Scattered heavy rain showers will persist over the area this
afternoon. Renewed flooding is possible with any shower that
remains over a given location.

Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Cicero, Evanston,
