* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of east central New York, including the
following counties, Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady.
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will
take several hours for all the water from these storms to work
through local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 549 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicates that between 4 and 8
inches of rain fell in the warned area yesterday. Flooding is
ongoing.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.2 inches are possible in
the warned area through this morning.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, Rotterdam, Cohoes,
Watervliet, Rensselaer, Colonie, Latham, Delmar, Guilderland,
Niskayuna, Menands, Green Island, Waterford, Loudonville,
East Glenville, Halfmoon and Verdoy.
