* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing.
* WHERE...Portions of Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady
counties in eastern New York.
* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will
take several hours for all the water from these storms to work
through local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 800 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicates that between 4 and 8
inches of rain have fallen in the warned area. Flooding is
ongoing.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area through tonight.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, Rotterdam, Cohoes,
Watervliet, Rensselaer, Colonie, Latham, Delmar, Guilderland,
Niskayuna, Menands, Green Island, Waterford, Loudonville,
East Glenville, Halfmoon and Verdoy.
