* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Albany and Schenectady Counties in eastern New York.
* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will
take several hours for all the water from these storms to work
through local drainage systems.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 754 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicates that between 2 and 6
inches of rain have fallen. Flooding is ongoing in the warned
area.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Albany, Schenectady, Rotterdam, Scotia, Delmar, Duanesburg,
Westerlo, Ravena, Voorheesville, Altamont, Feura Bush,
Selkirk, East Glenville, New Scotland, Coeymans, Princetown,
Clarksville, New Salem, Wolf Hill and Thatcher State Park.
