Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...
* Until 245 PM MDT.
* At 1151 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over the Forsyth Burn Scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of
rain has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the Pine Valley Recreation Area, the Santa Clara
River and drainages above Pine Valley. The debris flow can consist
of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding in and around the Forsyth
Burn Scar.
