NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued July 28 at 7:18PM EDT until July 28 at 7:45PM EDT by NWS Morristown TN

At 718 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek, or 15 miles south
of Maryville, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
