* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall overnight in southern
Arizona and northern Sonora.
* WHERE...Southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 500 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of the San Pedro river, washes flowing into the
San Pedro, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is
imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are likely inundated
with water and may not be passable.
* Additional Details...
- At 1106 AM MST, Signfciant rainfall fell across southern Arizona
and northern Sonora Mexico overnight. The San Pedro River at
Palominas is near Action Stage.
- The current stage is around 14 feet and could rise into Action
Stage at 15 feet. Flooding is being observed in low- lying areas
along the San Pedro River at East Hereford Road.
