NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued July 27 at 12:27PM CDT until July 27 at 1:15PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL

At 1227 PM CDT, a large severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located near Lemont, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
Orland Park, Tinley Park, Lockport, Homer Glen, and Mokena around
1235 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include New
Lenox, Frankfort and Frankfort Square.
