NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 26 at 7:53PM CDT until July 26 at 11:00PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY

At 753 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported that many side
streets were flooded in Owensboro. While the heavy rain has ended,
the water may be slow to recede due to 2 to 3 inches of rain that
occurred. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Owensboro and Stanley.
