NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 26 at 3:28PM EDT until July 26 at 4:15PM EDT by NWS Charleston SC

At 328 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported a number of road
closures in Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant and surrounding areas from
ongoing flash flooding. Between 3 and 5.5 inches of rain have fallen
in these areas since around 1 pm. Emergency officials are describing
this situation as dangerous and are asking people to stay off the
roadways until conditions improve. The risk for additional flash
flooding has diminished, but it will take some time for conditions to
improve.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Mount Pleasant, Isle Of Palms, Sullivan's Island, Mount Pleasant
Towne Centre, Boone Hall Plantation, Sullivans Island, Seaside
Farms, East Cooper Regional Medical Center and Snowden.

This includes I-526 between mile markers 29 and 31.
