* Flash Flood Warning for...
North Central Cibola County in west central New Mexico...
* Until 315 PM MDT.
* At 1212 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Mainly rural areas of North Central Cibola County.
This includes Highway 53 between San Rafael and El Morro.
Saturated soils will make the terrain more susceptible to flash
flooding.
