NORTHEAST CA AND WESTERN NV...

The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Red Flag
Warning for gusty winds and low humidity, which is in effect from
1 PM Friday to 9 PM PDT Saturday. A Fire Weather Watch has also
been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds and low
humidity is in effect from Sunday afternoon through Sunday
evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* CHANGES...Upgraded Friday and Saturday to a Red Flag Warning.
Also issued a Fire Weather Watch for Sunday.

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zone 270 Surprise Valley
California, Fire Weather Zone 278 Eastern Lassen County, Fire
Weather Zone 458 Northern Washoe County.

* Winds...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph each
afternoon.

* Humidity...Afternoon minimums 5 to 9 percent Friday through
Sunday.

* Duration...3 to 9 hours Friday and Saturday afternoon. 3 to 6
hours Sunday afternoon.

* Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can
cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first
responders can contain them.
