* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Buckhannon River near Buckhannon.

* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Portions of Cleveland Ave and Wood St
flood. Sections of Rte 20 south and north of town begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 24.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:45 PM EDT Wednesday was 25.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just
after midnight tonight and continue falling to 4.2 feet early
Monday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 24.2
feet on 03/02/1997.
