NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 22 at 8:26PM MDT until July 22 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT

At 826 PM MDT, There has been a localized debris flow originating
out of Baker Canyon which is crossing SR 153 and creating the small
rise of muddy flow on the Beaver River. This flow will continue
downstream and is expected to remain within the banks of the Beaver
River.

Radar estimated rainfall from this latest storm indicates that
.20-.35" of rain has fallen, with the greatest accumulations falling
near the placement of Beaver County #1 camera, or near milepost 8 on
SR 153. The heavy rain has since ended.

A small rise of muddy water has occurred at Beaver County #1 camera,
and this flow will continue downstream the Beaver River.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Cottonwood Burn Scar in
Beaver County.
