At 335 AM MST /435 AM MDT/, a river gauge on the Moenkopi Wash near
Moenkopi has reported a rise of 10 feet over the past 2 hours,
reaching moderate flood stage. This is due to heavy rainfall upstream
earlier Tuesday. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding along the Moenkopi Wash.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Moenkopi Wash.

Tuba City and Moenkopi.

This includes the following highways...
Highway 160 between mile markers 318 and 321. U.S. Highway 89 between
mile markers 476 and 478. State Route 264 between mile markers 323
and 324.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Moenkopi Wash, Little Colorado River, Hamblin Wash, Fivemile Wash
and Begashibito Wash.
