* Until 1145 PM MDT.
* At 751 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over the Cottonwood Burn Scar in Beaver County. Between
0.25 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen depending on the
drainage. The bulk of the heaviest rain fell over Mt Holly, but
heavy rain has also fallen over Merchant Valley in Beaver Canyon,
and now middle portions of the south fork of North Creek. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the The south fork of North Creek and the Beaver
River. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and
other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding in and around the Cottonwood
Burn Scar in Beaver County...specifically North Creek
and the Grove areas.
