NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 18 at 8:28PM CDT until July 18 at 11:15PM CDT by NWS Midland/Odessa TX

At 828 PM CDT, a trained weather spotter reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain at FM829 and CR800, which were reported to be
completely underwater. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 2 inches in 1 hour.
Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Lenorah, Tarzan and Knott.
