Nueces River Below Uvalde affecting Uvalde County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Nueces River below Uvalde.

* WHEN...Until this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding nine miles
southwest of Uvalde closes the Farm to Market 481 bridge floor.
Livestock in the flood plain should be moved to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:30 AM CDT Saturday was 14.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early this morning and continue falling to 5.6 feet early
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
13.0 feet on 07/02/2002.
