NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 18 at 6:51PM EDT until July 18 at 10:30PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

At 651 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain with multiple reports of flooded roadways and
high water in Easton. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Easton, Denton, St. Michaels, Matthews, Cordova, Tanyard, Griffin,
Harmony and Copperville.
