* Flash Flood Warning for...
West Central Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico...
* Until 815 PM MDT.
* At 520 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, and
low water crossings. Several low water crossings along
State Highway 158 between Hatch and Radium Springs will
become severely inundated and too dangerous to cross.
Flooding may impact the Slot Canyon hiking area near
Radium Springs.
