At 1203 PM MST /103 PM MDT/, a river gauge on the Moenkopi Wash
continues to report decreasing water levels. Flash flooding is
already occurring and should begin to decrease over the next hour.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Moenkopi Wash.

SOURCE...River gauge reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Moenkopi Wash.

At 11:45am MST /12:45pm MDT/ the stage was 23.43 feet.
Flood Stage is 27.0 feet.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Moenkopi.

This includes the following highways...
Highway 160 near mile marker 313...and between mile markers 316 and
323. U.S. Highway 89 between mile markers 476 and 479. State Route
264 between mile markers 322 and 324.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Cedar Wash, Moenkopi Wash, Begashibito Wash, Little Colorado River,
Fivemile Wash and Hamblin Wash.
