At 1022 AM MST /1122 AM MDT/, a river gauge on the Moenkopi Wash
reported water levels are just beginning to decrease. The gauge
reported an 8 foot rise around 9 AM MST this morning from heavy rain
upstream of Moenkopi last evening. Flash flooding is occurring and
will continue through the village of Moenkopi this morning.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Moenkopi Wash.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Moenkopi Wash.

At 9:45am MST /10:45am MDT/ the stage was 26.68 feet.
Flood Stage is 27.0 feet.
At 27.0 feet: At 27.0 feet water begins to encroach on homes in lower
Moenkopi Village and floods crop fields along the river.

Fivemile Wash and Hamblin Wash.
