increased in duration for the following rivers in Texas...

Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs affecting Karnes and Wilson
Counties.

Cibolo Creek Near Falls City affecting Karnes County.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Water submerges the roadway just south of
the FM 539 bridge, making it impassable. Homes are not yet
impacted at this level.
At 37.0 feet, FM 539 is flooded and impassable near the Cibolo
Creek. Access to some homes may cut off due to the floodwaters.
Backflowing could affect residences along Gum Branch and Alum
Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 27.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 AM CDT Thursday was 27.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 38.3
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
late Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
38.8 feet on 10/05/2009.
