...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

Nueces River At Laguna affecting Uvalde County.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Nueces River at Laguna.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding makes low
bridges very dangerous to motorists along Highway 55 at Hackberry
Creek. The Nueces River at Barksdale, and numerous crossings and
low bridges in the headwaters and Camp Wood Creek. Campers
downstream should move themselves, vehicles, and equipment from
the banks of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 5:45 AM CDT Thursday was 14.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall to 14.7 feet this morning. It
will then rise to 16.6 feet late this morning. It will fall
to 15.2 feet this afternoon. It will then rise to 15.7 feet
late this afternoon. It will fall below flood stage late
tonight to 3.6 feet late Monday morning then rise again.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
16.3 feet on 09/16/1991.
