The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Comal County in south central Texas...
East Central Kendall County in south central Texas...

* Until 1015 PM CDT Thursday.

* At 1019 AM CDT, emergency management reported a dangerous flood
wave moving down the Guadalupe River. Additional rainfall amounts
up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly. People along the river
should move to higher ground.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Flood waters are
moving down the Guadalupe River and will continue
through the evening.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Canyon Lake, Guadalupe River State Park, Spring Branch and Honey
Creek State Natural Area.
