Red Flag Warning Issued for Wyoming Fire Weather Zones

CHEYENNE, WY - The National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning effective July 11 at 6:44 PM MDT through July 13 at 8:00 PM MDT for fire weather zones 419, 420, and 427 in Wyoming.

Fire Weather Conditions

• Wind: Southerly winds 15 mph gusting to 30 mph
• Relative Humidity: 10 to 15 percent

Impacts

Any fires that develop are expected to spread rapidly due to low humidity and elevated wind speeds. Red Flag Warnings indicate conditions are favorable for rapid fire growth and spread.
