NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 9 at 11:45PM CDT until July 10 at 5:00AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY
At 1145 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain with several roads impassable in Mounds and
Mound City in Pulaski County. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

La Center, Wickliffe, Mounds, Barlow, Tamms, Mound City, Karnak,
Lovelaceville, Ullin, Kevil, Olmsted, New Grand Chain, Pulaski and
Blandville.
