NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 10 at 3:16PM CDT until July 10 at 7:15PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

At 316 PM CDT, thunderstorms producing heavy rain have moved east of
warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Significant
additional rainfall is not expected over the next couple of hours.
Flash flooding is ongoing, especially in and near the St. Joseph
area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
St. Joseph, Savannah, Wathena, Elwood, Country Club Villa, Country
Club, Stewartsville, Union Star, Amazonia, Clarksdale, Easton,
Cosby, Amity, Helena and St. Joseph Airport.
