NWS / NOAA weather: Flood Warning issued July 6 at 10:58PM EDT until July 7 at 5:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
counties, Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clearfield and Elk.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. It
will take several hours for all the water from these storms to
work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1058 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in
the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and
4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
St. Marys, DuBois, Clearfield, Sandy, Northern Cambria,
Philipsburg, Woodland, Curwensville, Patton, Penfield, Hyde,
Hastings, Osceola Mills, Plymptonville, Rockton, Chester
Hill, Karthaus, Houtzdale, Blandburg and Force.
