NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 7 at 1:06AM EDT until July 7 at 2:30AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 106 AM EDT, local law enforcement and doppler radar reported
thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5
and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Scottdale, Perryopolis, Everson, Vanderbilt, Dawson and Grindstone.

Even though the heavy rain has ended, runoff will still result in
flash flooding. School Road was flooded near Dawson. Porter Avenue
and North Chestnut Street were also flooded near Scottdale. Broadford
Road was also flooded near Everson.
