NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 4 at 8:22PM EDT until July 4 at 10:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 822 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Greensburg, Jeannette, Latrobe, Irwin, McChesneytown-Loyalhanna,
Manor, Youngwood, Derry, West Newton, Lawson Heights, New Stanton,
Calumet-Norvelt, North Irwin, Sutersville, Penn, Madison, Arona,
Youngstown, Adamsburg and Grapeville.

911 Call Center reported flooding near Youngwood, Hempfield, and
Unity.
