* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southern De Kalb County in north central Illinois...
Northern La Salle County in north central Illinois...
Southeastern Lee County in north central Illinois...

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 203 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing torrential rainfall over the warned area.
Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen over portions of southern
DeKalb County. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1
hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding.

IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage
ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and
other poor drainage areas.

Shabbona, Lake Holiday, Hinckley, Somonauk, Earlville, Waterman,
