NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 4 at 12:18AM MDT until July 4 at 1:30AM MDT by NWS Denver CO

At 1218 AM MDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in Flash flooding was reported along Highway 61
between County Roads 4 and 8 in Logan county. Between 2.5 and 3.5
inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no
additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches, roads,
and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
St Petersburg.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Rock Creek, South Platte River, North Fork Frenchman Creek, Sandy
Creek and Patent Creek.
