NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued July 3 at 6:03PM CDT until July 3 at 6:45PM CDT by NWS Quad Cities IA IL

At 603 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Pearl City, or 10 miles west of Freeport, moving
east at 25 mph. A rotating wall cloud has been reported with this
storm.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include...
Freeport, Eleroy, Bolton, Stephenson County Fairgrounds, Albertus
Airport, German Valley and Ridott.
