NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued July 2 at 7:46PM MDT until July 2 at 8:15PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS

At 746 PM MDT/846 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
a tornado was located 9 miles north of Stratton, or 16 miles
northwest of Trenton, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and three inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Hitchcock and northeastern Dundy Counties.
