NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 3 at 4:17AM MDT until July 3 at 6:15AM MDT by NWS Denver CO

At 417 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain in Along I-76 from Iliff to Julesburg. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1
hour. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches, roads,
and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Ovid, Iliff, Sedgwick, Crook, Marks Butte, Twin Buttes, Proctor,
Sixteen-Mile Corner and Padroni.

This includes Interstate 76 between mile markers 128 and 179.
