* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern De Kalb County in north central Illinois...
Southern Kane County in northeastern Illinois...
Northwestern Kendall County in northeastern Illinois...

* Until 315 AM CDT.

* At 1216 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding.

IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage
ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and
other poor drainage areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Aurora, St. Charles, Batavia, Geneva, Plano, Sandwich, North
Aurora, Sugar Grove, Elburn, Hinckley, Somonauk, Waterman, Big
Rock, Kaneville and Little Rock.
