DVIDS (CENTCOM / DoD): 621st Contingency Response Wing Responds to Accelerate Earthquake Disaster Relief in Venezuela

Following the June 24 earthquakes in Venezuela, Airmen from the 621st Contingency Response Wing deployed to Simón Bolívar International Airport to establish airfield operations in support of a Department of State-led U.S. disaster assistance mission. Working alongside U.S. interagency partners and local aviation authorities, the team is helping expand the flow of humanitarian aid by enabling the safe arrival and movement of relief supplies, equipment and personnel.
