...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...

Patoka River near Princeton.

.Major flooding is occurring on the Pakota River near Princeton. The
forecast crest is still 23.8 feet. This would be a bit higher than
the crest observed in April, 2025, and about a foot less than the
flood of record, which occurred in May, 2011. Major flood impacts
are forecast to continue until this weekend, when water levels will
begin to fall.

For the Patoka River...including Princeton...Major flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flooding affects mainly farmland. Seasonal
camping trailers closest to the river become inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 AM CDT Thursday was 23.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.8
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
24.0 feet on 03/16/2006.
