Kickapoo River at La Farge affecting Richland and Vernon Counties.

Kickapoo River at Gays Mills affecting Crawford County.

.Up to 4 inches of rain fell near Ontario Wisconsin overnight. This
rain routing downstream, combined with the additional precipitation
of around 1 inch will lead to flooding along the Kickapoo River.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Kickapoo River at Viola.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, Highway 56 just east of Viola is closed due
to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:50 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:50 AM CDT Thursday was 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5 feet
early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
Saturday evening.
