NWS / NOAA weather: Flood Warning issued June 29 at 1:05PM MDT until June 30 at 12:45PM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Areas along Swiftcurrent Creek near Many Glacier in Glacier
National Park.

* WHEN...Until 1245 PM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding and elevated flow of creeks and streams, and
other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1248 PM MDT, Recent heavy rainfall has resulted in elevated
flows on creeks and streams including Swiftcurrent Creek near
Many Glacier. Flooding is expected as water levels continue to
rise through this evening from runoff and some additional
precipitation.
- At 1230 PM MDT, Swiftcurrent Creek at Many Glacier was at a stage
of 4.5 ft. A rise to 6.2 ft is forecast to occur by 6 PM MDT
early this evening. Creek rises at this location will impact
access to the Many Glacier area.
