Iran Foreign Minister Says John Kerry Leaked U.S. Covert Operations Intel
IRAN - Foreign minister of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif has stated in a leaked audio file that while John Kerry was Secretary Of State under the Obama administration, Kerry informed the Iranian foreign minister of more than 200 Israeli operations that had been carried in Syria in which Iranian forces were targeted.
"It was former US Foreign Secretary John Kerry who told me Israel had launched more than 200 attacks on Iranian forces in Syria", the foreign minister stated.
According to a New York Times report that was quickly buried, foreign minister Zarif fondly recalled working with Kerry to bypass Trump and work with Obama administration "Veterans".
Zarif said "These relationships blossomed into what high-level national security and intelligence sources say allowed the Iranian regime to bypass Mr. Trump and work directly with Obama administration veterans that Tehran hoped would soon return to power in Washington".
This, after John Kerry and other Biden officials had already been accused of collusion with Iranian top officials in order to thwart the Trump administration in meetings that occurred in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Trump had responded saying that Kerry should have been hit with a prosecution under the Logan Act for what he called "shadow diplomacy", saying, "You know, John Kerry speaks to them a lot. John Kerry tells them not to call. That’s a violation of the Logan Act, and frankly he should be prosecuted on that".
Noah Pollak fom the Democratic Alliance Group tweeted the following in response, "John Kerry was ratting out Israeli covert operations in Syria directly to the Iranian foreign minister. Let that sink in. Wow."
In one of Trump's Tweets he wrote, "The United States does not need John Kerry’s possibly illegal Shadow Diplomacy on the very badly negotiated Iran Deal. He was the one that created this MESS in the first place!" to which Kerry replied, "I think every American would want every voice possible urging Iran to remain in compliance with the nuclear agreement that prevented a war".
With all the "Russia Collusion" talk happening from the democrats, along with multiple impeachments claiming that collusion is bad, and saying that Trump should pay the price, one would think that the democrats would not want to risk a chance that they themselves might caught in a collusion scandal, but that is exactly what has happened.
It was never about collusion being bad. It was about taking out a political opponent by any means necessary. Therein lies the hypocrisy so often seen within the realm of politics, where outward appearance and manipulative illusion is favored above honesty, truth and justice in relation to the truth.
