Russia Warning: Keep Away From Crimea For "Own Good", Calls US Adversary
Moscow, Russia - On Thursday the Russian government demanded that the United States keep away from Crimea "For their own good", declaring that the US ships being deployed to the Black Sea are a direct provocation.
The United States sent two warships to the Black Sea after Russia began placing tanks, armor and amassing 80,000 troops along the border of the Ukraine directly after Biden called Russian president Vladimir Putin a soulless 'Killer'.
Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated "The United States is our adversary and does everything it can to undermine Russia’s position on the world stage. We do not see any other elements in their approach. Those are our conclusions."
Ryabkov also stated "We warn the United States that it will be better for them to stay far away from Crimea and our Black Sea coast. It will be for their own good."
Tensions have been growing since the Russian military buildup and as of yet show no signs of deescalating, as the leader of the Ukraine attempts to request talks with Putin to calm down tensions with no response from the Russian president.
