Biden Cancels Warships From Black Sea, Russia Paints War Stripes On Tanks
Biden has issued orders to the US warships headed to the Black Sea in support of the Ukraine to retreat and turn back from their voyage after Russia threatens the US with action, saying "There is absolutely nothing for American ships to be doing near our shores, this is purely a provocative action. If there is any aggravation we will do everything to ensure our security and safety. But Kiev and its allies in the West will be entirely responsible for the consequences."
This, not long after Biden's bold declaration regarding his talk with Mr. Putin where he stated that he "made it clear to President Putin, in a manner very different from my predecessor, that the days the United States rolling over in the face of Russia’s aggressive action are over."
Instead sending the warships, Biden has declared a 'national emergency' and signed an executive order to place sanctions on Russia, and expelled 10 Russian diplomats, citing alleged Russian election interference in the US 2020 elections and 'cyberattacks' from Russia as the reason, stating "We cannot allow a foreign power to interfere in our democratic process with impunity".
In response to the sanctions and expulsions of Russian diplomats, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova declared "such aggressive behavior will undoubtedly trigger a resolute retaliation. Washington should realize that it will have to pay a price for the degradation of the bilateral ties,' Zakharova said, adding that 'the responsibility for that will fully lie with the United States." and said that she requested to talk to the US ambassador for a 'hard conversation'.
Russia is now painting their tanks with 'invasion stripes' as they amass in numbers on the Ukrainian border, which is something that Russia did just before the invasion of Czechoslovakia was carried out in 1968.
